Champagne & Cava are always made using traditional method – second fermentation in a bottle (when the bubbles are being born ✨). Prosecco & Sekt are most often made using Charmat method – second fermentation in big stainless steel tanks, and only a little amount is produced using traditional method. This bottle of #Schlumberger is one of the rare ones. Can’t wait to try it! Cheers 🥂

🍷...history. The 1st Prime Minister of Italy, the famous count of Cavour, invited one good enologist to his estate in Barolo to make a new modern dry red wine. It became a favorite among the nobility of Turin, and since then has been called "the wine of kings, the king of wines" 👑
🍷...a piece of art & a result of hard labour of a winemaker.

1️⃣ Red & white wine mixed together – this is NOT how rosé is made! Instead, to produce most rosés, red grapes are crushed and then left for a short period of time (12-36 hours) in contact with their skins. Longer contact ➡️ deeper colour.
2️⃣ Rosé can be made from almost any grape and anywhere in the world. NOT ONLY in Provence! 😅 Some common grape varieties are Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, etc.
